Good Thursday Morning my friends,
Have you stopped and taken a look at the world we’re currently living in? It appears to be getting worse with each passing day. The trash on regular tv is as bad as cable. The thieving politicians in Washington are methodically robbing us of our rights & freedoms. We are see Christians getting ridiculed and raked over the coals for their beliefs in the Bible. While the prominent preachers in this country remain silent because they are more worried about their church numbers rather than the doctrine they are suppose to be preaching. Christians are called intolerant and many other things by the media and those that support their divisive agenda. We are without a doubt at a crossroad and as our country continues on this dangerous course of self destruction, our only way out of this mess is for our nation to turn to God. The bad news is that at this point our young nation has never been further away from God.
As we sprint closer and closer to the return of Christ, Christians must remain focused on Him and not of the fleshly desires of society. We must make sure our walk is daily and not weekly. We need not to conform to society and it’s subpar standards but instead stand firm on what the Bible teaches. We must remember that our goal is to first seek to glorify & honor God in ALL we do before anything else.
In today’s Scripture, David finds himself in the wilderness. It’s not the idea place but he’s not worried about his surroundings his goal is to seek God and His glory.. We can learn something from David, we don’t need to focus on our surroundings but instead focus on seeking God.
“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; (Psalms 63:1)
My CHALLENGE PRAYER for you… Don’t let the dry land your living in destroy your thirst for God..
