Shackles of Sin

Good Morning my friends,

As I grow closer to God in my walk and then look at society, I become more and concerned with those that are lost. It’s so obvious that there are so many people that are walking around clueless. It wasn’t too long ago that I was one of those people but fortunately I heard a message from God and the Holy Spirit awakened my soul and removed the scales from my eyes and I saw for the first time what I had been missing for 43 years. I truly didn’t know what it meant to free my soul from the shackles of sin. I walked into church that morning headed for hell but come out ready to spend my eternity in Heaven.

“Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized.” (Acts 9:18)

My whole adult life I thought I was already saved but yet I lived my life differently. I was the ultimate hypocrite. I never considered myself to be a hypocrite because I never condemned people for their sinful lives. I just joined them in their lifestyle. I made an appearance at church almost EVERY Sunday so the people there would think I was a stand up Christian and church guy, but the moment I walked out the door I lived as if I wanted to be hell bound. If you would’ve asked me where I was going to spend ETERNITY, I would’ve boldly declared in Heaven. Heck, I was a believer. I could even quote scripture. Truth be known…. Satan believes in God as well. He knows God exist. In fact, he can quote scripture as well but satan will not be in Heaven.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15)

I thank God daily because the closer I get to Him, the more He reveals Himself to me. As I grow in my walk, He removes more and more layers of scales from my eyes and blesses me with more insight of His love & graciousness. My days have become continual shouts of praise and thanksgiving for the many blessings which He pours on me. I thank Him for those that are walking around aimlessly because it’s an opportunity for me to pray for them and plant the seed, so the Holy Spirit can perhaps do the same thing for them as was done for me. Maybe my words will be the words that they hear that will shed the light that they are indeed hell bound. They need to know that the path they’re walking down is a dangerous path and they need to repent and change immediately.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” (Psalm 100:4-5)

Let gratefulness rule your heart. As you honor Jesus with a grateful attitude for the blessings in your life, a marvelous thing begins to happen. Scales fall from your eyes, enabling you to see more and more of His glorious riches. With your eyes opened more, you can help yourself to whatever you need from His house of treasure. Each time you recieve one of Jesus’ golden gifts, let your gratefulness sing out and praise His Holy Name. “Hallelujahs” are the language of heaven, and they can become the language of your heart. A life of praise and gratefulness becomes a life filled with miracles. Instead of trying to be in control, focus on Him and what He is doing. This is the power of praise: centering your entire being in Him. He created you to live this way. He made you from His own image. So enjoy the abundant life by sending an overflowing amount of praise and gratefulness to Him.

“Again they shouted: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.” The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: “Amen, Hallelujah!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!” Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.” (Revelation 19:3-6)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU… Search your heart and soul and determine where you’re headed…

I hope you have a MAGNIFICENT day…. Blessings & much love……D

ALWAYS…..Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST24!!!
