Be Thankful

Good Morning my friends

Every November on Facebook brings the 30 days of THANK’S. Each day for the whole month people write something in which they’re thankful. It’s fun reading the different things people are thankful for.. I think we ALL can admit that there are somethings that we all have in common that we are thankful for however its the other things that sets us apart from one another. Have you ever thought about being thankful for a problem in your life? You know those thorns in your flesh… It’s easy to be thankful for the good things but what about those things that bring turmoil or sadness in our life? Not so much huh… The Bible tells in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Wow in all circumstances…. Perhaps we need to start looking at the “bad things” a little different. I’m learning that things happen for a reason. Most of the time it’s to draw our focus away from our busy life & bring our focus back on Him. God has a way of knocking us upside our head and saying, HELLO remember Me. In the Summer 2011 when Keri & I went through our troubles, we believe it was to put us in a place where we could handle what was about to come into our life. Today we’re able to thank God for the thorns in our flesh.. Maybe not ALL thorns but we are working on it…

“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.” (Hebrews 13:15)

Thank Jesus every chance you get throughout the day for His Presence and His Peace. These are gifts of supernatural proportions. Ever since the resurrection, He has comforted His followers with these messages like “Peace be with you” and ” I am with you always.” Listen as He offers you His Peace and His Presence in full measure. The best way to recieve these glorious gifts is to thank Him for them. It’s impossible to spend too much time thanking and praising Him. He created you first and foremost to glorify Him. Thanksgiving and praise puts you in proper relationship with Him, opening the way for His riches to flow into you. As you thank Him for His Presence and Peace, you appropriate His riches gifts.

“While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” (Luke 24:36)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU… Be thankful for the thorns in your flesh not just the easy things.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL day…. Blessings & much love……D

ALWAYS…..Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST24!!!
