His Precious Promises

Good Morning my friends

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” (Philippians 4:12)

You can live as close to Jesus as you wish. Jesus didn’t erect any barriers between you and Him; neither does He tear down barriers that you erect. People tend to think their circumstances determine the quality of their lives. So they pour their time & energy into trying to control those situations. They feel happy when things are going their way, and sad or frustrated when things don’t turn out as they had hoped.  

They rarely question this correlation between their circumstances and their feelings. Yet it’s possible to be content in any and every situation. We should learn to put more time & energy into trusting Jesus and enjoying His Presence. Don’t let your well-being depend on your circumstances. Instead, connect your joy to His precious promises: Jesus is with you and will watch over you wherever you go. He will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches. Nothing in all creation will be able to separate you from His Love. 

“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” (Genesis 28:15)

Have you ever been around anyone that is either on the MOUNTAIN TOP of the world or on the of devastation? If they were to graph their life it would look like a lie detector test.. My walk with Christ is by NO MEANS perfect but I look at a lot of things different than I did before.. I was just like most of the people today, I walked around believing in God and proudly stating “I’m a believer.” 

 Believing in God doesn’t keep you from Hell. Satan believes in God. Being able to quote Scripture isn’t going to get you to Heaven. Satan can quote Scripture all day long.. That’s merely a head knowledge. Having a head knowledge of The Bible, God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit is not gonna get you to Heaven. The magic question is, do you have a heart knowledge?? When you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior did you invite Him into your heart. Was there a change in your heart . Your life will not be perfect but the way you handle life and the way you approach life will be much different. Once you’re on the right path and headed in the right direction, your life will no longer look like a lie detector graph.. There will be long periods of plateau’s where no matter what occurs you embrace them for what they are and continue on..   

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
