Discouragement & Frustration

Good Morning my friends,

It’s Friday but SUNDAY’S COMING!!!

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”  (Psalm 27:14)

The last few months have been very difficult for me to swallow. I’ve watched all the progress that I made in physical therapy from May to July slowly fade away into the abyss all because a lack of competence from a Ft Worth company that specializes in braces and prosthetics. To make a long story short they failed to listen to their customer. So after 2 1/2 months they were fired and a new one was hired and the process began all over.

In the meantime, what I lost was far outweighed by what I gained. Lost daily progress has been replaced by pain that comes to visit my everyday for most of the day. Some days are worse than others but needless to say, my friend pain and I have become “friends.” Lost with my strength also was the ability to perform daily task that most take for granted. I guess you could say, it’s hard for me to swallow because I was use to doing whatever I wanted.

I’m reminded daily that no matter how bad I have it, there’s always someone that is having a more difficult time than me. I’m still blessed to have someone by my side that can assist me in the task that I’m not strong enough to do. I don’t get discouraged but I do get frustrated.

What about you do you get discouraged or frustrated by life?

Perhaps you aren’t making enough money or you not convinced that God can supply your needs? Are your frustrated with something in your life that you refuse to believe God can help you be content? Are you worried about other things and don’t even stop and consider that your life could be in God’s hands? Those are tough questions to answer when you don’t have a firm relation with God.

Discouragement and frustration can be like a large cloud that never moves from above you. Those clouds obscure the warmth and joy that the sun provides. In the case of spiritual discouragement and frustration, the cloud eclipses the Son of God in our lives.

Discouragement and frustration is Satan’s devise to thwart the work of God in our lives. It blinds your eyes to the mercy of God and makes you perceive only the unfavorable circumstances that you’re currently facing. The only one way to dispel discouragement and frustration is not by your own strength or ingenuity. It’s by turning to your faith in God, believing that He loves you and is in control.

The Bible says, “Wait on The Lord….and He shall strengthen your heart.”

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU……. Wait on the Lord and He shall strengthen your heart.

I hope you all have a FANTASTIC day.. Blessings & much love….D

ALWAYS…..Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
