It’s Not My Fault

Good Morning my friends,

It’s Friday but SUNDAY’S COMING!!!

Ever since Adam & Eve man has NEVER been one to accept responsibility for their actions. Our first response is ALWAYS to blame someone else. We live in a me society but when it comes to taking responsibility for mistakes we become a lot more inclusive.  Satan is without a doubt responsible for the sin, wickedness & evil in our society, however You & I make the choice to fall into temptation.. Sin & temptation is our choice . If I choose to eat Chicago pizza or triple-meat with cheese hamburger, fries and a milk shake while I’m on a diet trying to lose weight, it’s not Papa John’s or Whataburger’s fault that I can’t lose weight. It was my choice to eat those things..

I’ve been so guilty of blaming others for my own wrong decisions.. When I consciously made the decision to dishonor my wife and flirt with other women I blamed it on Keri not giving me enough attention… It wasn’t my fault!! It was hers.. Look at our society. We refuse to take responsibility for anything. We have cities that are bankrupt because of their lack of leadership. We have corporations almost or bankrupt for the same reason. We have thugs being shot by police because they rob a store and refuse to listen to the police when they find. We have businesses being looted and burned by thugs.. We have people that live in poverty because it’s someone else’s fault.. We have people that blame their drug addiction on someone else…

The BOTTOMLINE… YOU and ONLY YOU are responsible for the decisions you make in your life. We all have the same opportunity to choose to do what is right.

“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (James 1:14-15)

Is Satan always the one to blame when things go wrong in our lives? Or are we sometimes responsible?

On one hand, the Bible makes it clear that Satan is real and that he is ultimately behind all the evil that goes on in the world. Before he rebelled against God the world was perfect; sin and evil didn’t exist. But now we live in a fallen, twisted, sin-infested world–and Satan is the reason. On the other hand, Satan is not all-powerful, nor does he directly cause every bad thing that happens to us. Sometimes we don’t know the cause–but often we alone are responsible, because we have turned our backs on God and deliberately followed our own sinful desires instead of His will. When we do this, we pay the consequences; as the Bible warns, “God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7)

But remember: by His death and resurrection, Jesus triumphed over all the forces of evil–those in our heart and those in the world. Turn to Him for the strength you need to resist temptation and follow Him.

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU.. Accept responsibility for your choices…

I hope you all have a FANTASTIC day.. Blessings & much love….D

ALWAYS…..Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
