Sharing The Gospel with Lost Friends & Family

Good Morning my friends,

We all have friends or family members that are walking down that broad path that leads to destruction. I found that those people are the hardest people to share Christ with because we fear their reaction. We not only fear that they will reject our words but we fear there will be a possible confrontation as well. We shouldn’t allow our fears to keep us from sharing Christ with them because if God laid those individuals on your heart the He’s in all likelihood been preparing their hearts.

One way to defeat the confrontation and rejection is to start praying for them in advance. Ask God to start preparing their heart to receive your message of Christ. You and I both were at one time in that same place, you might of had those same feelings, but someone put away their fears and shared Christ with you. We all probably have dozens of people in our life that need salvation.

Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

How do you react when you see someone that you love or care about live a lifestyle that is inevitably going to destroy them? Do you shake your head in disgust? Do you simply ignore it? Do you secretly celebrate because you’re not as bad as them? Or do you seek God and ask Him to use you to help them?

Think of all the people Jesus dealt with during His ministry. Some were society’s rejects like lepers, the women caught in adultery, despised Samaritans, the criminals on the cross. There were others that were powerful and sophisticated like Nicodemus, Pilate, and the Pharisees. The whole social spectrum was covered and they all needed the Savior; they were all headed toward death and eternal damnation but they were all the objects of His love. Not everyone Jesus tried to turn back from the brink of destruction responded nor will they all respond to you. But that didn’t keep Jesus from trying nor should it be a discouragement to you. Whom would God have you reach out and try to help in the name of Christ today?

“Remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.” (James 5:20)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU…. Ask God whom you should reach out to and help or reach out to the person that you know headed for destruction. Plant the seed and pray for them..

I hope that you all have a FANTASTIC day.. Blessings & much love….D

ALWAYS…..Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
