Be Vigilant with Your Thoughts

Good Morning my friends,

Our enemy the devil loves to use doubt to control us.  He will use doubt about your finances, your relationship, or your salvation.   He does this because if he places the least bit of doubt in your mind and it sticks, he will then overwhelm you with an onslaught of things that will give you even more doubt so then he can claim victory.   One of the biggest mistakes a non-Christian can make is to listen to the devil when he tells them to wait to be saved, that they have plenty of time.  The Bible tells us that we are not guaranteed tomorrow.  Procrastination is one of Satan’s favorite tools that he uses to claim victory over people daily.  He will tell you that can read your devotional later or even tomorrow..  He will tell you to pray later when you have time and won’t be distracted but we must remember 1 Peter 5:8 which says, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” Satan doesn’t need much room.  If you give him an inch you might as well have given him a mile because he will exploit whatever you give him and overwhelm your like.

“The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6)

Trust God and don’t be afraid, for He is your Strength and Song.  Do not let fear dissipate your energy.  Instead, invest your energy in trusting Him and singing His Song.  The battle for control of your mind is fierce, and years of worry makes you vulnerable to the enemy.  Therefore, you need to be vigilant in guarding your thoughts.  Do not despise this weakness in yourself, since
God uses it to draw you closer to Him.  Your constant need for Him creates an intimacy that is well worth all the effort.  You are not alone in tis struggle for your mind.  His Spirit living within you is ever ready to help in this striving.  Ask Him to control your mind and He will bless you with Life and Peace.

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU..   Let your mind be focused and be controlled by the Spirit.
I hope you all have a TREMENDOUS day…   Blessings & much love….D

Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
