Don’t Run Ahead and Peak

Good Morning my friends,
Your journey in life is going to be filled with bumps & bruises, mountains & valleys, dead-end roads, forks in the roads, and triumphs & tragedies.   I wish I had the privilege of telling you that my whole life has been filled with nothing but mountains, straight roads and triumphs however if that were the case I wouldn’t have near as much wisdom & incite to share with you all.   When I look back over the bumps in the road, the valleys, and the tragedies in my life I can see that they ALL have one thing in common.  They all were at a time in my life when I was trying to anticipate and plan the things that were going to happen in my life.  It has taken me my whole adult life to understand that through pray and God’s direction that you can truly live a blessed life.   I’m not necessarily referring to a life in which there is fame & fortune.  I personally would rather live in poverty here on earth and have the riches of heaven.   I’ve witness over that last 4 years what prayer and God’s guidance can do in your life if you’re willing to give it to Him and allow Him to direct you at His pace.   I can hardly wait to see what is around the corner for us but I can promise you I’m not gonna try to run ahead and peek…  Instead I will pray continually and wait for Him the reveal it to me according to His timeline not mine..

“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.” (Psalm 62:5)

Learn to rest in Jesus..  Give your mind a break from planning and trying to anticipate what will happen in your day or life.   Pray continually, asking His Spirit to take control of the details in your life.  Remember that you’re on a journey with Him and when you try to peer into the future and plan for every possibility, you ignore his Companionship.  He is the One who sustains you moment by moment.  When you gaze anxiously into the distance, you won’t feel the strong grip of His Hand holding yours.  How foolish is that?  Remembering Him is a daily discipline.  Never lose sight of His Presence with you. This will keep you resting in Him all day, every day.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16-18‬)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU..   Pray continually and find your rest in God
I hope you all have a GREAT day…   Blessings & much love….D

ALWAYS…..
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
