Plotters & Prisoners

Good Morning my friends,
Acts 25 is preliminary to Paul’s appearance before Herod Agrippa in Acts 26.  When we first start reading in Acts 25, we see Paul and Festus.  Paul seems rather weary of the scheming of corrupt politician Festus.  We read of Festus’ dealings with the PLOTTERS.  Jewish leaders plan to kill Paul en route to Jerusalem.  To his credit, Festus declines, stating Paul will remain in Caesarea, his dealings with the PRISONERS are less honorable.  Godless politicians always look for ways to get themselves out of unpleasant circumstances in a way that will save their hides!!  We finally see Paul and Agrippa meet midway through the chapter.    He receives information about Paul.  Felix reviews the details of the case and Paul’s appeal to Caesar.   Acts 25, closes with the introduction of Paul to Agrippa.  There really wasn’t much to send on to Caesar in the way of accusation.  Truth has never been crucial to many.

“After Festus had conferred with his council, he declared: “You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you will go!” (‭Acts‬ ‭25‬:‭12‬)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU…     Lord help me know that You are still in control even when I’m treated unfairly..
I hope you all have a TREMENDOUS day…   Blessings & much love….D
ALWAYS…..
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
