Righteousness, Temperance & Judgement

Good Morning my friends,
In Acts 24, What a dramatic scene!!!  Governor Felix enters with Druscilla.  Paul stands for them.  He enters in chains.  What a contrast!!!   Although Felix is freed outwardly, Felix has chains on his soul.   Paul on the otherhand is chained outwardly, but has a free soul…  Paul faithfully preaches faith in Christ.  He tells Felix about a RIGHTEOUSNESS he does not possess.  The rightness of God; the wrongness of man; the rightness of Christ.   He tells Felix about TEMPERANCE that he does not practice.   How appropriate to the audience!  Felix stole his own brother’s wife!  Then the thunder claps.  He tells Felix about a JUDGEMENT to come for which he is not prepared.  Down the road of life is death and judgement (Hebrews 9:27).  No wonder Felix trembled.  But did he turn?
“As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, “That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.” (‭Acts‬ ‭24‬:‭25‬)
MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU…     Ask the Lord to help you tell the people in your life that need a savior even though it might be unpopular.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day…   Blessings & much love….D
ALWAYS…..
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
