Prayer & Peace

Good Morning my friends,
Acts 12 is an action packed intriguing chapter.  We have a killing, an arrest and praying.  This chapter is similar to the world that we’re living in today.  We live in a hostile world that  is attacking; beleaguered church are praying; but the only difference is that our prayer-answering God isn’t intervening YET.  Oh how I wish God would intervene in this world today.  Let’s consider the mystery of providence in verse 1-4.  We see that James is killed and Peter is delivered.  Why?  When we cannot trace His hand, we can trust His heart.  We see the ministry of prayer in verse 5.  Prayer is a mighty weapon!!  The church prayed “Without ceasing” which means, stretched out.  The disciples put their souls into their prayers and didn’t stop.  The majesty of peace is found in verses 6-16. Peter was due for execution the next morning and he was sleeping..  Peter had peace.. Can you imagine the faces of the disciples when Peter, showed up at the door?  Their prayers were answered..  Why is it that when we pray we’re surprised when God answers?

“But prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.”  (Acts 12:5)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU…     When you don’t understand, lay it before God’s throne of grace.
I hope you all have a TREMENDOUS day…   Blessings & much love….D
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
