Good Morning my friends,
Acts 10 is the Gentile Pentecost. Peter, a Jew, goes to the house of Cornelius, a Gentile whom is a Roman officer and a sincere man. Cornelius prays and is of good reputation but even more so is SEARCHING for God.. Peter is a GROWING Christian and has a lot of growing to do. The prejudice in Peter’s heart is clogging the channels of compassion. When the Lord gave Peter a vision and told Him to, “Get up, kill and eat.” Peter said, “Surely not Lord.” You can’t call Jesus, Lord and say no, to Him in the same sentence! A GATHERING congregation would be any preacher’s dream but a GRATIFYING conversion before the sermon is finished is even more of a blessing. Calvary’s River of Love is meant for the world..
“By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ.” (Romans 1:5-6)
MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU… Ask the Lord to help rid your heart of anything that would hinder getting the Gospel to sinners.
I hope you all have a GREAT day… Blessings & much love….D
