A Divine Encounter

Good Morning my friends,

The Spirit said unto Philip, “Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.” (‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭29‬)

Who wants to leave a great city-wide crusade and go to a desert?  The Lord told Phillip to do that. Often we have experiences that can only be described as a Divine encounter.   Every essential ingredient in a witnessing experience is found here.  In verse 26-27, there is a Spirit-Prompted Saint.  God said, “Arise and go.”  And he, ”arose and went” which signified prompt obedience. In verses 27-28, we see a Spirit-Prepared Sinner.  Riding a chariot was a responsible, religious and receptive man-the Ethiopian Eunuch.  Joining himself to the chariot,  Phillip uses a Spirit-Pointed Scripture.  Stephen goes from Isaiah 53 directly to Jesus.  The  result was a Spirit-Produced Salvation. The Eunuch believes and is baptized.  Desert duty may become delightful duty.

“Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭12‬)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU….    Ask the Holy Spirit for a Divinely encounter today.
I hope you all have a MAGNIFICENT day…   Blessings & much love….D
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
