“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
Good Morning my friends,
Continue reading in Acts, deacon Stephen take center stage in this thrilling account. Stephen means crown and in Acts 6 and 7 we find out how he came to wear the martyr’s crown. Stephen is the faithful MINISTER. The church is growing, souls are being saved and the apostles are covered up in work. They have given themselves to the ministry of the Word and prayer. Ministering to the physical needs of the people was to be their primary responsibility and it took many to carry on God’s work. The first deacons were selected and Stephen emerges from the group. He becomes the powerful MESSENGER.. Standing to speak, there is something different about him. His face was glowing like an angel. The face often tells what’s in the heart.
MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU…. Ask the Lord to touch your life so that others may see the glow of Christ upon your countenance.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC day… Blessings & much love….D
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!
