Good Morning my friends,
Learn to live from your true Center which is Jesus Christ.. He resides in the deepest depths of your being and in eternal union with your spirit. This is where His Peace reigns continually. You will NEVER find lasting peace in the world around you or in what it has to promise you. The world can only offer you empty promises. The world is under the curse of death and decay, but the good news is that there’s a gold mine of peace deep within you. It’s just waiting to be tapped so it can supply you from it’s unlimited reserve. You just have to take the time to delve into the riches of God’s residing Presence. He wants you to live increasingly from your real Center, where His Love has an eternal grip on you. He is Christ in you, your hope of Glory.
“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)
A few weeks ago Keri & I were talking about the Peace of God and how we both feel so alive in our heart & soul. We have so much peace & joy that we feel like we are about to burst at the seams. We’ve always been happy people but we’ve never been in this place in our life and it just keeps getting better & better, even in our circumstances.. In Sept, I learned my cancer was back for a third time and I was being referred to Houston for treatment. A week after learning about my cancer our income took a big hit when it was cut by about 60% after we were “downsized” by our long-term employer. Yet since, we have been blessed with more than enough. God is working so much in our life and giving us so much guidance that at times it seems a bit overwhelming. When I say overwhelming I don’t mean in a sense that We don’t know what to do or how to handle it but in a sense that I know it’s not deserved. Sometimes it’s hard for me to understand that God wants to use someone like me that ran from Him for twenty years and I turned my back on Him so many times but yet He NEVER gave up on me.. I do my best to remind myself that God does not call the equipped for His Kingdom but instead He equips the called but there are times it’s difficult to remember.. The gold mine of peace is an amazing place. I can only pray that my words someday penetrate your heart and will remove the scales from your eyes so that you can someday see the blessings that God wants to pour on your life.
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15)
My CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU…. Claim you gold mine of peace by inviting Jesus into your heart and to the center of your life..
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC day… Blessings & much love….D
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
