Insanity or Repentance

Good Morning my friends

Have you ever found yourself in a place in your life and you say, “NOT AGAIN?” Hardship & affliction are a funny thing.. They usually come about from poor choices. I’ve seen people throughout my life that seem to be in constant hardship but yet they seem to always make the same poor choices over & over & over. Sometimes I cant help but wonder to myself if they’re just to proud to realize it or are they really that unaware. It seems so easy to see from the outside looking in. Of course, I speak from experience as well.. I’ve been there done that and have been one of those clueless individuals.. Life can be so fun..

A lot of the times I’ve noticed that God gets the recognition for the afflictions/hardships but in reality they should be weighted solely on the shoulders of the person. God’s recognition for your affliction/hardship should come only after He bails you out again. But instead I constantly seen people question why God would continue to place affliction/hardships in their life. Why is it so hard for people to take responsibility for their poor decisions? It’s hard because we are proud people. Our selfish pride keeps us from owning our actions and consequences. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:18 that, “pride comes before destruction.”

Usually when you want a different result in life you need to make a drastic change. Albert Einstein defined insanity as, “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” The opposite of insanity would be REPENTANCE. Repentance is not admitting your sin and then continuing down the same path you were on and expecting a different result, it’s an abrupt change, a reversal of direction in the opposite direction. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5: 29-30, “If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”

Seek Jesus more and more. You are just in the beginning of your journey with Him. It’s not going to be an easy road, but it’s a delightful and privileged way: a treasure hunt. Jesus is the Treasure, and the Glory of His Presence glistens and shimmers along the way. Hardships are part of the journey too. He will allow them to come ever so carefully, in just the right dosage. Do not recoil from afflictions, they are faith builders. Trust Him and don’t be afraid, for He your Strength and Song.

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

My CHALLENGE PRAYER to YOU…. If you want something different then make an abrupt change and go the opposite direction..

I hope you all have a TREMENDOUS day… Blessings & much love…D

Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
