Delight in The Lord

Good Morning my friends,

It’s so easy to get distracted and allow your focus to be in other places. In the past from mid December thru June was my time of year that I would tend to get lost in business. My crosshairs would be sighted in on efficiency & productivity. I was constantly looking for ways to sell more with less overhead.. My mind was constantly focused on how I to reduce man hours but yet get more work out of my crew. I would get so laser focused & intense that I would shut out the rest of the world. I learned slowly to not to do that. I learned to share my thoughts during these times and bounce my ideas off my team.. I learned to turn to God during these laser focused times and ask Him for His help.

He is always near, hovering over our shoulder, reading and knowing our every thought. People think that thoughts are fleeting and worthless, but they are precious to Him. Jesus smiles when you think lovingly of Him. His Spirit, who lives within you, helps you to think His thoughts. As our thinking goes, so goes our entire being. Let Jesus be your positive Focus. When you look to Him, knowing Him as God with you, you experience Joy. This is His ancient design from when He first created man. Modern man seeks positive focus elsewhere: in sports, sensations, acquiring new possessions. Advertising capitalizes on the longing of people for a positive focus in their lives. God planted that longing in human souls, knowing that only He could fully satisfy it. Delight yourself in Him; let God become the Desire of your heart.

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4)

My CHALLENGE to YOU…. Don’t allow your focus to be drawn away, instead remain allow God to inspire your thoughts…
