Sick & Tired of Sick & Tired

Good Morning my friends,

I see people all time on Facebook post that they’re tired or sick & tired of being sick & tired. I’ve been there done that.. Life can no doubt make you tired. It can flat beat you down. You go to work, come home only to pick up you kids so you can go to their extra curricular activity, come home again so that you can cook dinner, clean a little house, start some laundry, clean up after dinner and by now it’s already past 10pm and time to go to bed and you still need to get ready for bed and you still haven’t had any down time. That’s the story of most adults with kids and we have the nerve to question why the divorce rate is so high. There’s no time for one another.. There’s no time for romance. Heck truth be known when there is time both are too wore out to even think about it. I’ve learned that when you’re sick & tired of being sick & tired it’s time to make adjustments. What’s taking up most of your precious home time? Reduce it… Is it really necessary that little Johnny do select baseball, take guitar lessons & karate?? Is he really wanting to do all these things or are you pressuring him to do ALL of these things? Why not let your kids be a kid? This will free up time for you.. Who cares if Joey down the street is a multiple sports phenom. He’s 10 years old… Chances are Joey is gonna get burnt out and hate his overbearing dad that’s never played any sport but forces his son to play football, basketball, baseball & soccer even though he doesn’t like to play them. He’s 10.. Is your son or daughters resentment worth the price that you pay by missing out on making precious memories together as a family? It’s time we look at our lives and make some changes in our schedule so we’re not sick & tired, divorced & to top it off our kids despise you because you didn’t allow them to have a childhood.. Perhaps it would be more wise to spend more time in church and teaching them to serve.

Jesus said, “Come to me an rest.” He wants to bless and restore you. Breathe Him in with each breath. The path you’re own is about to become very steep. Slow down and cling tightly to His hand. He will teach you a difficult lesson that can be learned only by hardship. Lift up your empty hands of faith to receive His precious Presence. Light, Life, Joy and Peace flow freely through the gift. When your focus turns away from Jesus you grasp for other things. You drop the glowing gift of His Presence as you reach for lifeless ashes. Return to Him; regain His Presence.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)

My CHALLENGE prayer for YOU!! Turn your hectic life over to Jesus and find rest…

I pray that YOU have a FANTASTIC day. Blessings & much love…. D

Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
