Good Morning my friends
We live in a world that does everything in its power to grab our attention. Marketers have learned what grabs out attention and what places that yearning inside of us to try that new gadget out. We fixate ourselves on it until we have one in our hands. Last night much of society was focused on the Super Bowl where you saw some of the most creative commercials of the year that were ALL biding for our attention. Those commercials are produced to tug at our emotions. They send both direct and subliminal messages. Some of those commercials will just be laughed at and other will be said “whatever to” however I believe that we must remain focused on the task at hand because we are slowly being force feed a society that we are warned about in the Bible. The halftime show is one of the most anticipated performances of the year.. Over the years each show has become more and more sexual and Satanist..
I can remember when I was a kid you would never see a woman in a bathing suit on tv and now they put women in the least amount of clothes as possible. When I was a kid you hardly ever saw a man & woman kiss on tv but now they show almost everything. TV glorifies sexuality, divorce, infidelity & homosexuality. Before anyone gets their panties in a knot about me saying something about homosexuality let me say it’s a sin but so is infidelity, lusting, lying, stealing etc etc.. A sin is a sin…. I pray equally for my homosexual friends as I do for those that are single and those that are married. I think in the end that we all need fix our eyes on the cross, repent of our sins and do our best to live according to the Bible.
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
Truth be known, you don’t have to face the societal problems alone!! When you feel excited or anxious, you must realize that you are focusing on the visual world and leaving Jesus out of the picture. It’s a simple fix, just fix your eyes not on what is seen but in what’s not seen. Verbalized your trust in Him, the Living One who sees you always. Jesus will guide you safely through this day and all your days. Each day is a precious gift from God. Don’t allow yourself to grasp for future gifts when today’s is set before you! When you receive today’s gift gratefully and savor it, you find Him..
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
My CHALLENGE prayer for YOU!! Savor and be grateful for the gift of today…
I pray that YOU have a MAGNIFICENT day. Blessings & much love…. D
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
