Good Morning my friends,
“Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” (Deuteronomy 8:3)
Many say that the Old Testament is no longer relevant to us today-but God has a lot to teach us through it’s pages. After all, Jesus knew and often quoted the Old Testament. One reason the Old Testament is important, He declared, is because it points to His coming as the promised Messiah.
The detailed instructions that governed the Old Testament sacrificial system no longer apply to us because they have been fulfilled in Christ’s sacrifice of Himself on the cross. Yet they still have much to teach us about the holiness of a God and the seriousness of sin.
The book of Psalms is the Bible’s hymnbook. It shows you what it means to walk with God in prayer and praise. The prophets and historical sections show how God dealt with His people and how He wants to deal with us today.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU!!! Find the relevance of the Old Testament in your life.
I pray that YOU have an WONDERFUL day. Blessings & much love…. D
Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
