Good Morning my friends,
When J.P. Morgan the multimillionaire died, his will consisted of around ten thousand words and thirty-seven articles. In his life, Mr. Morgan made many business transactions, and it’s safe to say that a lot of those transactions consisted of very large sums of money. But in his will, he left no doubt as to what he considered his most important transaction: “I commit my soul into the hands of my Savior, in full confidence that, having redeemed and wash it in His most precious blood. He will present it faultless before my Heavenly Father; and I entreat my children to maintain and defend, at all hazard and at any cost of personal sacrifice, the blessed doctrine of the complete atonement for sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, once offered, and through that alone.”
“Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,”(Revelation 1:5)
In the matter of his soul J.P. Morgan’s vast wealth was powerless. He was just as dependent on God’s mercy as was the dying thief at Calvary. No matter who you are or what you have done, only Christ can save you.
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)
MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU!!! Examine yourself and make sure you leave no doubt..
