Learning from Mistakes

Good Morning my friends,

When I first felt God’s calling to the ministry, I thought that there was no way He could ever use me because there were things that weren’t right in my life. I never thought about the sinful lives of the great men of the Bible that God used.. God included real-life, flesh-and-blood, sinful people in His Word. David committed adultery, Abraham lied about husband wife, Moses committed murder and the list goes on and on. God did this as a lesson for you and he to learn from their wrongdoings.

One of the lessons we should learn is that sin always has consequences.. Take David for instance, he was a great leader and a good man in many ways but over the years he became complacent and instead of carrying out his responsibilities, he fell into immorality (2 Samuel 11-102).

When you consider the tragic consequences of his sin, not only did the child born of that illicit union die, but David committed other sins to cover up his adultery. Furthermore, his influence for good lost, and his latter years as king were marked by rebellion and tragedy.

God has much to teach us from the examples of His people who failed. But most of His Word points us to Christ, who alone can forgive us and set us free from the bondage of our sin.

“These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.” (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭11‬)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU!!! Learn from your mistakes and seek the right path for your life.

I pray that YOU have an SUPER day. Blessings & much love…. D

Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
