Christ’s Return

Good Morning my friends,

Will today be the day that the trumpets sound and Christ returns? I wake up each morning wondering if this will be the day. This is a burden on my heart daily because I know I have friends that haven’t accepted Christ as their Savior. There is unfinished work for me to do and the thought of me not reaching my friends troubles me.

CS. Lewis once identified three reasons why people don’t want to believe in the return of Christ. First, they claim that Jesus’ return did not take place as the early Church hoped-so it must be a myth. This argument is not new; in his second letter the apostle Peter put it this way:

“In the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, ‘where is this “coming” he promised? They will say, Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” (‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭3-4‬)

Second, if we believe humanity is constantly progressing, we will never see the need for the return of Christ. Why do we need Christ to come back if we can reach perfection on our own?

Third, the teaching of Christ’s return cuts across the plans and dreams of millions of people. They want to eat, drink, and be merry, and Christ’s return would interrupt what they are doing-and they don’t want that.

Jesus said, “if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭3‬)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU!!! Prepare yourself for Christ return..

I pray that YOU have an WONDERFUL day. Blessings & much love…. D

Live YOUR life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
