God wants to be your Conductor

Good Morning my friends,

People want things now. Instant gratification is one of the many things that’s destroying this country.. People buy things that they can’t afford because they’re not willing to wait.. They’re willing to leverage years of their time, energy, family & finances at the drop of a hat for a little happiness now. People scream “hurry” at microwave as they wait for it to cook their minute rice.. People eat instant oatmeal while drinking instant coffee for breakfast. They go through the drive-thru window to eat fast food for lunch. They pick up food-to-go on their way home from work and then workout to the 10 minute Trainer because there’s no time to go to the gym.. To communicate we use instant messenger.. We are constantly seeking to upgrade to the latest & greatest tech toy that will increase our productivity by helping us do things faster than we do now.

“But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.”(Micah 7:7)

As in life we want instant gratification from God as well. We expect Him to instantly answer our cries for help for the situations that our own stupid decisions caused. Sadly when we don’t get our way, we instantly blame God for our situation and either turn our back on Him or throw our hands in the air and quit praying. Do we honestly feel that God owes us a favor? Over the last two years, God has been teaching me patience.. He has shown me time after time how persistence and a willingness to wait for His direction can be a blessing.. I’ve learned to sit back and watch God work.. His timing is always perfect and if you let Him, He will orchestrate events in your life like a conductor leads a symphony..

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

Don’t treat God’s Presence like the drive-thru lane of your favorite fast food place. Wait patiently for God to bless you. Don’t put a time limit in your conscious while your speaking with God. God dwells in timelessness: He is, He was and He will always be. Time is a method of protection man because we’re a frail and can handle only twenty-four segments of life at a time. Time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in your mind. Learn to control or master time, or it will control you or be your master. Seek to meet God in timelessness. As you focus on His Presence, the constraints of time and your demanding tasks will diminish. He will bless you, keep you focused, and let His Face shine upon you graciously which in turn will provide you with Peace.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU.. Be patient and persistent in prayer and wait for His direction and Peace…

I hope you have a AMAZING day… Blessing & much love…D

Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
