Procrastination & Doubt are your Enemy

Good Morning my friends,

Trust God and don’t be afraid, for He is your Strength and Song. Don’t let fear take away your energy. Instead, invest your energy in trusting Him and singing His Song. The battle for the control of your mind is fierce. Worrying will only make you vulnerable to your enemy. You must remain vigilant in guarding your thoughts. Do not hate the weaknesses that come from within because God uses those weaknesses so that He can draw you closer to Him. Once you’re drawn closer to God, you will develop a constant need for Him which creates an intimacy that is well worth your time & effort. Remember that you’re not alone in your struggles. God’s Spirit lives within you and He is always ready to help you. Ask Him to control your mind and He will bless you with Life and Peace.

“The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6)

Doubt is your biggest enemy. Satan loves to use doubt to control you. Once he places the least bit of doubt in your mind, he has gained control. He will then overwhelm your life with obstacles & struggles that will create even more doubt which in turn allows him to claim victory. One of the biggest mistakes a non-Christian make is listening to Satan when he tells you to procrastinate. He will tell you to “wait” or “there’s always tomorrow” or “you have plenty of time”. Procrastination is tool that the devil uses to claim victory everyday. It doesn’t matter whether your a Christian or non-Christian. He will plant the seed of “tomorrow” in your mind knowing that you’re weak minded and easily influenced. He wants nothing more for you to delay reading your daily devotional or your Bible. He wants you to put off starting a prayer journal. He wants you to choose another Sunday to start going to church or Sunday School.. He will tell you that it will be better to pray later when you have more silent time and less distractions. He will tell you that you that you have plenty of time to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Satan knows that his odds for victory increases exponentially if you delay the least bit.

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU.. Allow your mind to be focused & controlled by the Spirit.

I hope you have a TREMENDOUS day… Blessing & much love…D

Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
