Good Morning my friends,
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8)
Seek to live in God’s Holy Love which covers a multitude of sin: both yours and others. You should wear God’s Love like a cloak of Light that covers you from head to toe. Fear not because His Perfect Love decimates ALL fear. Learn to look at other people through lenses of GOD’s Love so that you can see them from His perspective. This is how you walk in the Light, which is pleasing to God. God wants His Body of believers to be radiant with the Light of His Presence. God grieves when pockets of darkness dim His Love-Light. This is when you turn back to God because He should be your First Love! Gaze at Him in His Splendor of Holiness, and His Love will envelop you in Light..
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)
Most people view sin separately. They tend to categorize it in degrees of bad. Take for instance, in a lot of eyes lying is not as bad as stealing and homosexuality is far worse than adultery. When we look at sin through God’s eyes they are all equal.. One is not worse than the other. Jesus paints this picture for us in Matthew 5:28 when He said , “anyone that looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” WOW…. That’s rough ladies in gentlemen.. Guy’s think about all those lunches at Hooter’s & Bone Daddy’s & ladies the thoughts about Magic Mike, they are no different..
For most of my marriage, I could never understand why Keri would get upset about my “innocent” flirting with my vendors & customers.. They all knew I was married.. Heck it was just part of my job.. I view it quite different now. No matter how “innocent” the flirtation starts out, it ultimately gives Satan an opportunity. An opportunity to leap in your life and reek havoc. Satan only needs a small crack. Once you give it to him, he will exploit it. He will overwhelm your life like a flood. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:8, “to be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil walks around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” Amazing that God’s word tells us to be of sober mind. He warns us because we don’t have control even when we’re sober much less under the influence of alcohol. How many times have you messed up and blamed it on your drinking. Been there, done that.. God’s Love covers all sin..
“Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.” (Revelation 2:4)
MY CHALLENGE PRAYER for YOU.. Seek to wear God’s love like a cloak..
I hope you have a SUPER day… Blessing & much love…D
Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!!!
