Good Morning my friends,
Have you noticed that life boils down to the choices. It’s our decision where we spend time in thought & relaxation. It’s our choice whether we allow temptation to come into our life. It’s our decision whether we let the wrong people influence us. It’s our choice to give into the flesh & worldly desires. It’s our choice whether we serve man or we take up the cross and serve our Savior. Yes, we are ALL born into sin but it’s our choice whether we choose to commit the sin or not. Each requires us to make the conscience decision. You either choose to walk with Jesus and His ways or turn your back on Him.. You can’t serve both the world & God.
“But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign Lord ; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death.” (Psalm 141:8)
My friends today you have a choice to make. You either trust God and stop worrying & obsessing about things that are beyond your control or you can continue to go down that same path that you’ve been walking on. The problem we have in our society today is that instead of us taking action we instead like to give lip service. I see people all the time talking about serving God but their actions speak louder than their words. There are preachers around this country that choose to be popular by turning their back on God’s Word and preaching a watered down message of nothing but prosperity rather than calling sin a sin. They refuse to talk about sin, repentance, hell & satan.. If there has ever been a time for preachers and Christians to stand up and start talking about Jesus returning and encouraging sinners to repent it’s 2014…
Today YOU have a choice because tomorrow might not be an option.
What will your choice be?
I choose to TRUST God and hold on to His Sovereign Word..
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
Trust and thankfulness will ALWAYS guide you safely through each day. Trust protects you from worrying and obsessing about life and its obstacles. Thankfulness keeps you from criticizing and complaining which are the “sister sins” that so easily entangle you. Keeping your eyes fixed upon God is the same thing as trusting Him. It is a free choice that you must make thousands of times each day. The more you choose to trust God, the easier it becomes. Thought patterns of trust become etched into your brain which allow you to place your troubles out of your mind, so that He can be the center of your thoughts. Thus you’re able to focus on God, entrusting your concerns into His care..
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:6-7)
My CHALLENGE prayer for YOU…. Chose to trust God and not just give Him lip service…
I hope you all have a TREMENDOUS day… Blessings & much love…D
Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!!
