Walk by Faith, NOT by Sight

Good Morning,

Following God is one step at a time. God only requires you’re willingness to take each step. One step at a time with Him is the only way to move through this difficult world. When you see the huge mountains that are ahead of you and you start to wonder how you’re going to scale those heights you tend to get tripped up and stumble on the easy things. That’s because you start to focused on the difficulties that lie ahead. Once God helps you get back to your feet from falling don’t start worrying about the cliffs ahead. You don’t even know what will happen today, much less tomorrow. The path that God has planned for you could take an abrupt turn that will lead you away from those huge mountains. There may be an easier way up or around the mountains that you can’t see from your current vantage point. Don’t give up. If God does lead you up the cliffs, He will equip you thoroughly for the strenuous climb. Embrace your challenge and look for the lesson to be learned. God will even give His angels charge over you, to preserve you in all your ways. Keep your mind focused on your present journey, enjoying God’s Presence. Walk by faith, not by sight, trusting God to open up the way before you.

“For we live by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

How many times have you looked at the mountain that lies ahead in your path only to just throw up your hands and give up? I know people that crumple whenever they face just a little adversity. I’ve known people that when they were diagnosed with cancer they immediately began making their funeral arrangements. I know married people that got a divorced when they were faced with just a little adversity… They actually just gave up immediately.. Why do people just give up?? It’s done in marriage… It’s done in business.. It’s done in friendships.. It’s done with the church… It’s done with goals & dreams… I don’t think people realize that life requires EFFORT.. It’s not going to be like the Lazy River at Six Flags. Life is more like the white water rafting.. You’re going to have moments where the water is calm but you’re also going to have moments when the waters will be raging..

“With your help I can advance against a troop ; with my God I can scale a wall.”(Psalm 18:29)

The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” My friends whether you want to call it temptation or a mountain that’s making you want to give up, God has promised you that you can endure it.. Stay on course.. Heck you might not even have to climb the mountain. He might provide you with a Jeep to go over that mountain or a tunnel that goes through it. You just have to be willing to endure it for just long enough to reach the Jeep or tunnel. Don’t give up on the first sign of adversity. Jesus tells in Luke 17:6, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” A little faith is all it takes…

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” (Psalm 91:11-12)

My CHALLENGE prayer for you… Don’t quit with the first sign of adversity but instead are a little faith that you can endure it..

I hope you all have a SUPER day… Blessings & much love….D

Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!
