A Life of Praise & Admiration

Good Morning my friends,

It’s impossible to praise God too much. The Bible tell us that God inhabits the praises of His people. There are times when your adoration is a spontaneous overflow of Joy in and the there are other times when your praise is more disciplined and measured—an act of your will. God dwells equally in both types of praise. Thankfulness is also a royal road to draw near God. A thankful heart has plenty of room for Him.

“Praise the Lord . Praise the Lord , my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.”(Psalm 146:1-2)

When you thank God for the many pleasures He provides, you affirm that He is God from whom all blessings flow. When adversity strikes and you thank God anyway, your trust in His Sovereignty is a show piece in invisible realms. Fill up the spare moments of your life with praise and thanksgiving. The joyous discipline will help you live in the intimacy of His Presence.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

I’ve learned in marriage that it’s impossible to reassure your spouse that you LOVE & CHERISH them too much. Spontaneous hugs & kisses, little notes, holding hands while sitting on the couch watching tv, walking or driving in the car, looking them in their eyes and telling them you cherish or love them, going on dates, opening the car door for them or any other door and then gently placing your hands on the small of their back to guide them through the door are signs of affection that go a long way and give lots of reassurance.
The same consistent attention that I show Keri is the same attention God wants as well through prayer. He wants continual admiration & thanksgiving for all things in our life. We need to strive to be like Job.

“Satan afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head. Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.” (Job 2:7-10 NIV).

Many people after facing such affliction or adversity would’ve turned their back on God however Job maintained his faith and continued honoring, praising and giving thanks to Him. God wants us to be in continual praise & thanksgiving. I can tell you when you decide to devote your time giving thanks & praise to God and reassurance to your spouse your life & marriage will be transformed.

“Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises.”(Psalm 22:3)

My CHALLENGE prayer for you. Choose to devote your time to give continual praise & thanksgiving to God and reassurance..

I hope you all have a MARVELOUS day… Blessings & much love….D

Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!!
