Blessed Assurance

Good Morning my friends,

Take your vast emptiness to God, knowing that you will become complete in Him. As you rest quietly in His Presence, His Light will grow brighter and brighter in you. Facing the emptiness inside you is simply the prelude to being filled with God’s fullness. Rejoice in the days when you drag yourself out of bed, feeling sluggish and inadequate. Tell yourself that it is a perfect day to depend on God with childlike trust. If you persevere in this dependence as you go through the day, you will discover at bedtime that Joy and Peace have become your companions. You may not realize at what point they joined you on your journey, but you will feel the beneficial effects of their presence. The perfect end to such a day is a detoxology of gratitude. It is from God where all blessings flow.

“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.”(Colossians 2:9-10)

Do you ever have days when you just want to say, “FORGET IT”?? You see how it starts, you know hows it’s going to be in the middle therefore you know how its gonna end…. Days that you just want to say, “I’m not gonna deal with it!” How about the days where you just don’t want to go to work because you don’t feel like being there or dealing with all “the crap” that you gotta deal with there.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord . Praise the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6)

I must admit those days come a lot less frequent now but none the less I do have them from time to time. Usually when those days come I usually say a quick prayer and ask God to take those feelings away. I’m not going to lie to you and say instantly those feelings are zapped away because normally it’s a gradual ease of mind. Keri might give me a pat on the leg and smile at me with those beautiful blue eyes which reminds me all is right in the world. There are times when something is said that will bring a smile to my face or I’m just blessed with that feeling of reassurance.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”(Matthew 5:3, 6)

God communicates with us in so many ways when we go to Him in need in times such as these. There doesn’t need to be a tragedy to turn to Him. He wants us to go to Him during all times even during times like something as minuscule as a bad mood or a feeling of emptiness…

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”(2 Corinthians 4:6)

My CHALLENGE prayer for you. Ask God to change your attitude towards today and watch the peace & joy transcend on your day…

I hope you all have a MARVELOUS day… Blessings & much love….D

Live your life like it’s your LAST 24!!
